You Need.
1, 8 ounce can of stewed tomatoes
1, 6 ounce can vegetable juice cocktail
1/4 cup frozen chopped green peppers
1/2 teaspoon dried minced onion
1/4 teaspoon of worcestershire
sauce
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1, 6 ounce package frozen cooked shrimp
1/4 cup quick cooking rice
1/2 teaspoon of file powder
In a medium saucepan combine
undrained tomatoes,vegetable
juice cocktail,frozen green peppers,onion,Worcestershire,
ground red pepper and 1/2 cup
of water.
Bring mixture to a boiling.
Stir in frozen shrimp and uncooked rice. Return mixture
To boiling;Remove from the heat.Now add stir in the file powder.
Let stand covered for 5 minutes or till rice is done.
stir before serving.
