ITEMS NEEDED
3-TABLESPOONS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
3 TABLESPOONS WATER LIQUID IN KETTLE
# 1 BLEND FLOUR AND WATER TO SMOOTH PASTE.
#2 ADD IT SLOWLY TO LIQUID IN KETTLE STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
# 3 COOK ABOUT 5 MIN , STIRRING OCCASIONLY.
# 4 SALT AND PEPPER MAY BE ADDED IF DESIRED.
NOW FOR THE POT ROAST
3 LBS ROLLED POT ROAST
2 TBS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
2 TBS FAT
1 1/2 TSP SALT
1/4 TSP PEPPER
2 CUPS TART CRANBERRY SAUCE
1 CUP HOT WATER
#1 dredge meat in flour
#2 brown in fat in heavy kettle
#3 sprinkle with salt and pepper
#4 mix cranberry sauce and hot water pour over meat
#5 cover kettle and heat to boiling point
#6 reduce heat and simmer slowly about 3 hours
#7 remove meat and start your cranberry gravy.
#8 put meat on a hot platter and pour gravy over the top
